When the average person hears the word anarchy, what do you think comes to mind?

Visions of black hooded violent angry youth throwing Molotov cocktails at riot police in the street in some war torn nation...
Secret meetings about bringing down the government...
Lone terrorists planning desperate acts...
Chaos and violence in the streets,
An end to the rule of law and a return to the barbaric ways of our deepest past...
total fucking cluster fuck!

Well I'm here to tell you that's all bullshit.

Anarchy, or anarchism...isn't a violent or dangerous thing...not even as violent as republicanism...or even democracy.


Right now as we speak...both political parties are complicit in a global war effort against "terrorism" but besides a bunch of dead bodies, i'm not sure we have anything to show for it. It's time to advocate PEACE. And anarchists are just the people to do it.
